EAES Annual Report 2019 Serving our association as president is a great privilege that I am trying to honour to the best of my capacity. The annual congress in Sevilla exceeded our expectation, both in terms of international attendance as well as about its scientific content. Our new president elect, Prof. Salvador Morales Conde, should be congratulated on this achievement, largely due to the commitment and hard work of him and his team to make the congress one of the most successful ever: thank you, Salva! My sincere thanks also goes to Prof. Nicole Bouvy, in charge of the scientific programme: as always an excellent job Nicole! 6
