EAES Annual Report 2019

49 Consensus conference 2019 fellows was a preliminary choice, related to a specific EAES educational policy. Former standards of clinical guidance development, although of quality at the time, were replaced by the most evidence-based development and reporting standards summarized by the GRADE methodology and AGREE II guidelines. The support of the EAES Guideline Subcommittee is hereto commended. The all group worked hard in the last 12 months, and the guidelines are now ready to be published on Surgical Endoscopy, our official journal - We deeply thank all those who have contributed to this project, which we hope will contribute to the quality of healthcare in bariatric patients in Europe.
