44 Grants EAES Annual Report 2019 FELLOWSHIP GRANTS The fellowship is a three-month training programme in minimally invasive surgery, hosted by major centres located in Europe and the United States. The aim of the fellowship is to provide exposure to expertise in minimally invasive surgery and for the fellow to be involved in clinical, educational and research activities at the host institution. The EAES provides an extensive selection of grants to contribute to the improvement of patient care through education and training, with a specific focus on endoscopic surgery and other interventional techniques.
