27 The goals of the EAES Education & Training committee, with regard to the EAES strategic plan, focus on providing learning mobility opportunities (e.g. fellowships, clinical visits), hands-on training activities (e.g. pre-congress, endorsed and sponsored courses), E-learning modalities (e.g. EAES manual, video-corner, master classes) and career development possibilities (e.g. CME accredited tests, UEMS diploma in MIS). The strategy to achieve these goals is to communicate and co-operate with individual surgeons, local educational providers, national surgical societies, other professional associations and European institutions relevant to the field of education and training in surgery and related medical specialties.
